Paul's letters reveal a remarkable human being: dedicated, compassionate, emotional, sometimes harsh and angry, though he committed himself to go spread the word of god . Unfortunately, after his death one of his followers collected some of the letters, edited them very slightly, and published them, thirteen of the twenty-seven books of the bible are believed to have been written by him.
