St Paul's Letter to Year 8
Dear year 8 community
I am an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, To God’s holy people in Ephesus, the faithful in Christ Jesus: Justice and generosity to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather share in the holy Spirit by the generosity of your heart with tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love for each and every one, being one in spirit and of one mind. In humility, value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.
My disciples of the year 8 community I am writing this to you to share my knowledge and understanding of justice and generosity. Justice is the Behaviour or treatment that some is giving or receiving it is genuine respect for you and your neighbour .Generosity is having the quality of being kind and generous. My first thought for you young people is to grow in your justice stand up for what you believe in and may you have the ability and courage to do so and then you may find yourself closer to god. In my time I did some many bad things though Jesus helped me see what was truly right .He made me see that you don’t judge of persecute a person for there religion ,appearance or belief because everyone is equal in life .So I want you to learn from my mistakes. When you’re in the playground and you see someone being mistreated or left alone do the right thing and give justice to that person and the Loreto community by going over to them and inviting them to sit with you. Today there are many opportunities for you to be generous, the simplest of things in life like spending time or having a conversation can put a smile on a staff or students face .If I could go back and erase everything that I have done I would though I am glad I got the opportunity to see the power of god and what he can do.
May the God of justice and generosity, grant you power to understand the knowledge I have given you I wish for you to live in harmony with one another in accordance with Christ Jesus, so that together you may with one voice glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus the God of peace be with all of you. Amen.
Love from St Paul .
